CUSTOM FABRICATION: Custom mascot fabrication for a digital communication corporation. FILM: The Specter Studios multi talented family is available for film productions in many areas. We have effects artists, make up artists, wardrobe specialists, hair styists, set designers, and more. Rue Snider's "The Bar is a Beautiful Place" is a short film that brought most of the Specter family aboard to do many aspects of the production. Fall/winter 2005; Specter Studios provided some of our body parts to Cameron Romero's upcoming feature "The Screening". In addition, many of the staff here provided their talents to the make-up, hair, effects, and costuming in the film - (make-up and effects department run by Benzidream FX Studios). Expect to see more once information is released about the film. Specter devoted a great deal of time and talent in the Summer of 2006 to the making of Deviant Picture's "Trippin'". We worked on stunt props, special make-up effects, and production design. GRAPHIC DESIGN & PHOTOGRAPHY: We have created every one of our ads, as well as our catalog, logo, business cards, letterhead, website design and whatever else is needed. In addition to that, we use our employees and occationally our friends to model our products for our ads and catalogs. Just another example of how we try to keep the focus on small independent artistry, learning, growing and utilizing all of our "hidden assets". HAUNTED ATTRACTIONS: The Johnny line of parts was expanded in 2005 to be included in 100 Acres Manor's Sick Deli Case, a portion of their haunted house. Specter has teamed up with and expanded our partnership with Castle Blood over the last two years. We painted a dark art nouveau themed section of their haunt, and continue to have a creative working frienship with this unique haunt. In 2006, we spent many of our October weekend nights out at The Scream Asylum Pittsburgh. We look forward to staying involved in the haunted attraction industry for many years to come. The ScareHouse in Etna was the home of many Specter props and masks during the 2007 Halloween season. MAKE-UP & EFFECTS: Most of our staff is trained in make up and effects and we can and have done specialty face painting for events as well as film and theater. |
